USE OF MY WEBSITE

I have taken great care to ensure that all items are presented as accurately as possible, Colour clarity however can vary according to your computers individual monitor, I therefore cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colour of each individual item.

Please note that some of my work is created from reclaimed materials, as such the reverse of work may be marked with ink stains or similar. The process of cutting material from wood alters the stresses in that wood and occasionally this can cause the work to distort or cup after cutting. Where appropriate I will state that this is the case before purchase, but I do not view this as a defect. Wood is a natural material which is vulnerable to changes in stresses, heat and humidity.

DATA PROTECTION

I do not retain personal details or pass them to third parties beyond what is required to facilitate delivery of work, invoicing or discuss commissions.

COMMISSIONS

I am happy to recreate and/or adapt any designs seen here by mutual agreement within the confines of the timber I can source. A non returnable 50% deposit will be required before I undertake design work. Complexity, time, application of skill and the rarity of any piece of timber, will have bearing on the costs involved. Look through my previous work and have a budget in mind before getting in touch.

ORDERS

I currently only ship within the UK through this site. However, please contact me if you would like to arrange sale ad postage outwith the U.K I may be able to accommodate your needs

I am happy to accept a cheque just contact me and ask! But please leave plenty of time for funds to clear if you have a particular event in mind. I do not accept postal orders, or payment on delivery.

POSTAGE

I will aim to deliver within 48hrs or sooner for all orders placed before 1pm (excluding bank holidays, Saturdays and Sundays)..

You will be given a tracking number once your order has been sent to enable you to track your purchase online.

All items will need to be signed for on delivery, and will be sent to your chosen delivery address.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item/s to us in their original condition within 7 days of receipt.

All items must be returned in their original condition and if these terms are not adhered to, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

I take great care that all items sent out are in perfect condition, it is your duty of care to ensure that all items are cared for and returned unmarked or damaged . We reserve the right to refuse to refund if any items have been badly treated/marked or broken. All items sent back for return must be sent by recorded delivery with a tracking number, otherwise we cannot be held responsible for any items that go missing in the post.

We recommend that you use a postal service which insures you for the value of the goods that you are returning, and that allows you to track your parcel.

The cost of the return is your responsibility and will not be reimbursed by Fiona Kingdon -Artist in Wood.

Refunds will be issued on receipt, and take 5-10 working days to show back in your account.

We will process your returned once goods have been received at Fiona Kingdon's studio. We do not make refunds to a third party.
